East Texas’ Premier Fall Cultural Festival

Beginning this year, all donations, sponsorship contributions, and charitable gifts supporting Rüeggenfest will be administered through the Rüegg Family Swiss Heritage Foundation, a nonprofit public charity organized under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code (determination pending).

The Rüegg Family Swiss Heritage Foundation is pleased to invite you to partner with us for Rüeggenfest 2026, our third annual community Oktoberfest celebration taking place Saturday, September 12th, from 11:00 AM to 8:00 PM on the Marshall Square in front of the historic Harrison County Courthouse.

Rüeggenfest is a community cultural festival organized by the Rüegg Family Swiss Heritage Foundation, a nonprofit charitable organization dedicated to promoting cultural heritage, arts, education, and community engagement. The event is made possible through the generous support of local businesses, volunteers, and community partners, including Rüeggenbach Brewing Company.

Since its founding, Rüeggenfest has grown into a regional celebration welcoming families and visitors from across East Texas and beyond. The festival features live music, cultural demonstrations, traditional food, family activities, and heritage exhibits designed to celebrate community traditions while supporting educational and cultural programming in our region.

Funds raised through sponsorships and donations help support the Foundation’s charitable programs, including scholarships, cultural education initiatives, and community arts programming.
